at the spacious parlors of the
Wayne Hotel on last Thursday
afternoon at 4 o'clock with an
informal but delightful social.
About fifty guests were served

Count in closing our Institute
hereby resovle to work diligently
for the improvement of our
schools and to co-operate with
our .state and county officials in
a campaign for a belter and
broader eduenticn. We wish to
express our thanks to lhe Flab
College »>f Agriculture for send¬
ing Professors Hoc and Minear
from the* Extension Department
to our institute. Especially tuaok
ful are ivi> since their valuable
instruction was free of cost to the
county Board of Education arid
the teachers. Wc thank Profes¬
sors Hite and Minear for their
very earnest work. From the
splendid lectures given on Agri¬
culture, we shall be able, if we
try, to obtain much usiuble mat¬
erial for our work in the country
schools. Wo are under many obli¬
gations to .Mrs Walter B. Mill for
her work during the Inatitute in
behalf of Farm Life (Tubs for
Beys and Girls., also to Prof.
Gentry, United States Farm
Demonstration Agent for his
address. The good people of Jes¬
up have made an unusual effort
to mske our stay here a pleasant
one, and we as sure them that we
fuiiy appreciate the many court
esies shown. VVe especially wish
