We also find the jail in good sanitary con dition and neatly kept, which need no repairs with the exception of a few window panes broken out, which should be repaired at onc ^' W e also find the public toilets in very good condition. We find upon that the public roads are in v y good condition with some little exceptions, as follows: the roads in the Lulaton District need some work, and some considerable logs have blown down in roids in Odum District, and recommend that a bridge be built across Buf¬ falo Swamp near the small Town “LofP’ on th§ public road leading from Waynesville to Mt. Pleasant. W e appoint as a book conimit tee to examine and cheek the books of the bounty officers and report to the next Grand Jury the following members of our body: E. S. Majetfce, Ilanee Pop pell and M. W. Kicklighter. \\’ e recommend thaUhe Grand and Petit Jurors and the Bailiffs of said court be paid the sum of two dollars per day lor their ser vices, and that the Clerk of the Grand Jury be paid one dollar per day extra for his services as Clerk. -------- We reecoramend that the County be paid the sum of ten dollars for each convict placed on public roads of the Countv HS feeS ’ and thflt a11 0ther officera be Paid their regular costs for same. We rccommond that these general presentments be publish in the Jesup Sentinel, and in the Wayne County News, and that each receive the sum of five for publishing the same. Since the last Term, April, of the Superior Court there have been disposedof in the County Court Thirty Nine Cases, as follows, Cases [wherein' convictions were had 23; cas.es where acquilta's were had, 8; cases wherein Nolle Prosequi’s were entered 7; cases Wherein cost was awarded against the Prosecutor 1. Total 39. There has been collected and turned over to tha Treasurer on account of the general fund $30. And collected on account of in¬ solvent fund $170.40. This the loth day of November. 1910. —I). Roberson, Treasurer Wayne County, and found them correct and neatly kept, with bal¬ ance on hand of $11493.28. We find the books of Hon. J. S. Leo, Sheriff correctly kept. We find on Tax Collector’s books Hon. W. F. Knox Insolvent $163.35 Taxes not collected $1805.98. We find books of lion. B. Pur cell, County School Commissioner correct, and neatly kept, with no funds on hand. We find books of N. J.
