Evans chairman Democratic Executive Com mute for Dade County said committe met at the Court House in Trenton on April 7th 1888 Chairman Evans piesiding. The members present were T. If. Evans Chairman J. W. Blevins, W, J Taylor, Hugh Me Kaig, D. E. Tatum by proxy Isac Doyle by proxy W. C» Cureton by proxy JolutOlmk by proxy W. Cs. Taylor by proxy B. T. Brock was chosen secretary of the meeting. On motion it was deter mined by the committe to call a con vention for Apt il 28th 1888 to be h«ld at Trenton for the purpose of selecting delegates to attend the state conven tion in Atlanta ou May 9th for the purpose of nominating deligates to the National Democrat Caayention to b# held in St. Louis to dominate a Pr«s i'Unijind V|cy President. On motion of B. T. Brock it was determined to call a convention at Trenton on the 4th day of August 1888 for the pur pose of selecting delegates to the State convention for the purpose of nominating a governer and state house officers, Al«o at the same l.me and place to select delegates to a congress man for the 7th congressional district. On motion of Marion Tatum a primaay election was ordered for the second Saturday in July next foT tire purpose of selecting a candidate for State Senator to represent the 44th Senatorial District. Said election to be held in the same manner, and rotnrns to be consolidated by Ordinary as in state and county elections.
