Capt. A. G. Bell of Americus received a larg® turtle from Bruns wick recently. It weighed 275 pounds. It was brought up from the depot on a #ray and attracted quite a large crowd.. It was' turn ed over to Si Hawkins, the butcher to cut up. Dr. Russey has concluded to make Rising Fawn his home r,r>d has hung out his single at that place. The doctor is well and favorably known as a physician and our encomiums are unneces sary. See his card in another column. Our reader s will have to excuse the shortness of reading matter this week. We have been busy putting up new machinery and type. The Times office is now better equipped than ever before. To still further improve the pa per we hope our delinquents will settle up. If the deal fails Trenton is a goner certain. There is not one of her citizens willing to spend their time and money bo work up a trade.
