Blackened Head Stones, —The Cons cometary at Resaca was badly damaged by fire last week. The marble headstones were blackened and the shrubbery almost totally destroyed, Efforts will be made a* once to repair the damage. The origin of the fire is unknown. —Calhoun Enjoyed Bryan —S’ vera! Cal houiii'ee went down to Roma Tuesday to hear the spe.ch of the lion. William J. Bryan. They were all pleased with the address and admired the way in which it was delivered by the great Demo cratic leader.—Calhoun Times. Married: —Mr. Sam Doss and Miso Julia Hannah of this coun try were married at the home of the bride several miles below Rome, The wedding disposes of unpleasant court proceedings that were entered agains.
