HOW MRS. MORRIS DIED
OF LOCK I AW.
OTHER LOCAL NEWS.
From The Flourishing Floyd
County City.
Cave Spring, Mach 10.
Sunday morning, March 6th,
at 4 :20 o’clock Mrs. Morris bid
us all good-bye on this earth and
went home to Heaven.
She was sick only four days.
She died of lookjaw caused
from vaccination.
She was a dear good woman,
beloved by every one who knew
her. She was a member of the
Baptist church and has been for
years, and will be greatly miss
ed by the church. She was al
ways doing something for others
trying to do all the good she
could in this world. Whenever
any one needed help she was
always ready and willing to do
all that was in her power to do.
Her place can never be filled by
any one.
She leaves a husband and
seven children to mourn her
sudden death.
Their many friends sympa
thize with the bereaved family.
A reception was given at Mrs.
Walker’s last Friday night in
honor of Rey, and Mrs. Roberts.
It was quite an enjoyable affair.

Much Knife!
The use of the surgeon’s knife is be
coming so general, resulting fatally
in such a large number of cases, as to
occasion general alarm.
Mr. William Walpole, of Walshtown,
South Dakota, writes; “About
three years ago, there caMe under
my left eye a little blotch about the
size of a small pea.
It grew rapidly,and
/7 shooting pains ran
M hi every direction.
W v f I became alarmed
v and consulted a
good doctor, who
pronounced it can-
and said that it
niust be cut out ‘
MEWly*} This I would not
VX vfz •! J consent to, having
little faith in the
indiscriminate use of the knife. Read
ing of the many cures made by S. S.
S., I determined to give that medicine
a trial, and after I had taken it a few
days, the cancer became irritated and
began to discharge. This after awhile
ceased, leaving a sina.l scab, which
finally dropped off, and only a healthy
little scar remained to mark the place
where the destroyer had held full sway.
A Real Blood Remedy.
Cancer is in the blood and it is folly
toexpect an operation tocure it. S.S.S.

remedy for every
disease of the 1 ood.
