Very Quiet And Mildness
with Itself Spain.
OBJECTS TO THE FLEET
Assembling In Southern Wa
ters. No Official Notice.
Washington, March 17 . —The
main development in the Spanish
situation today was in connection
with the representations submit
ted by the Spanish government to
the state department concerning
the assembling of a large fleet of
American warships at Key West,
the war preparations and the in
fluence which those will have on
the approaching elections in Cuba.
These representations were exact
ly in hue with the semi-oflicial
utterances given in these d ispatch
es last night and accredited to a
high official conversant with the
views of the Spanish cabinet.
While these representations
cannot properly be regarded as a
protest against the attitude and
acts of the United States govern
mei t, it may unques’sonably be
be set down as a remonstrance
calculated to have an effect in Eu
ropean court circles. Not, how
ever, being a technical protest,
the statement has not cal'ed forth
any official rejoinder on the part
of the state department, for it is
lacking in tangible accusations,
being rather an argumentative
presentation of alleged Spanish
grievances.

“I know one lady, the mother of three

quickly and easily. All agree that their
labor was shorter and less painful.”

MANY PEOPLE RIDICULE
THE IDEA OF AN ABSO

ACHE TROUBLE.
Ridicule, However, Is Not Ar

Things.
Stomach troubles are so com
mon and in many cases so obsti
nate to cure that the people are
apt to look with suspicion on any
remedy claiming to be a radical,
permanent cure for dyspepsia and
indigestion. Many such pride
themse'ves on never being hum
bugged, esptc ally on med'cines.
This fear of being humbugged
may be carried too far; so far, in
fact, that many persons suffer
for years with weak digestion,
rather than risk a little time and
money in faithfully testing he
claims of a preparation so relia
ble and universally used as
Stuart’s Dyspepsia Tablets.
Now Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets
are vastly different in one impor
tant respect from ordinary prop,
rietary medicines for the reason
tha they are not secret patented
medicine uo secret ismade of their
ingredients, but analysis shows
them to contain the natural di
gestive ferments, pure aseptic pep
sin, the digestive acids, Golden
Seal, bismuth, hydrastic and nux
They are uot cathartic, neither do
they act powerfully on any organ,
but thej cure indigestion on the
common sense plan of digesting,
the food eaten prompt'y, though
ly, before it has time t o ferment,
sour and cause the mischief. This
is the only secret of their success.
Cathartic p'lls never have and
never can cure indigestion and
stomach troubles because they act
entirely upon the bowels, whereas
the whole trouble is really in the
stomach.
Stuart’s Dyspepsia Tablets,
taken after meals, digest the food.
That is all there is to it. Food net
digested or half digested is poison
as it creates gas, acidity, head
aches, palpitation of the heart,
loss of flesh and appetite, and
many other troubles which are
often called by some other name.
They are sold by druggists
everywhere at 50 cents per pack
age. Address Stuart, Co. Marshall
