Wasting
in Children
can be overcome in almost all cases
by the use of Scott's Emulsion of
Cod-Liver Oil and the Hypophos
phites of Lime and Soda. While
it is a scientific fact that cod-liver
oil is the most digestible oil in ex
istence, in
SCOTT’S
EMULSION
it is not only palatable, but it is
already digested and made ready
for immediate absorption by the
system. It is also combined with
fthe hypophosphites,which
supply a food not only for
the tissues of the body, but
for the bones and nerves,
and will build up the child
when its ordinary food
does not supply proper
nourishment. ,
Be sure you get SCOTT’S Emulsion. See that the
aiui fish are on the wrapper.

SCROFULA
H is Foul Blood’s Advertise
ment
But It 19 Soon Cured by Hood’s
Sarsaparilla.
Yes, Scrofula, if anything, may be called
the advertisement of foul blood. It is the
scourge of the world—offensive, painful,
debilitating, stubborn uc.d well nigh
unendurable.
Outward applications do not cure, they
only drive th* .lifilculty to new quarters.
Emollients may palliate, they cannot
abolish the evil. There is but ouo sure
way out, and that ij to eliminate tLc
taint from the l.Lod.
There is one remedy that can effect thia,
and it ia the or.ly one that, so far as we
know, has almost invariably succeeded
even ,vhere the system luu been poisoned
by long years of taint, and the ravages to
be repaired are tremendous. That remedy
is Hood's Sarsaparilla. Read this:
“My daughter was afflicted with im
pure blood. There were running cores
all over her body and they caused bar
much suffering. We tried medicines that
were recommended as blood purifiers,
but could not sec that they did any good.
A friend told me about Hood’s Sarsapa
rilla and I began giving the girl this med
icine. The result was t hat she was per
fectly cured after taking a few bottles.
She has had no symptoms of scrofula
sores since that time. ’ Marietta Al.
