Bible Accepted Only I» Part.
We can accept only those parrs of the
different books of the Bible which from
their intrinsic truth appeal to us.—-Rev.
William R. Lord, Unitarian, St. Paul.
Music*
I believe in music. My children be

—Rabbi Gottheil, New York.
Against Fitting Schools.
The average fitting school is run on
the impulse of meager motives. The
schools are cramshcps, and the boys
understand and call them such. —Rev.
Charles H. Parkhurst, Presbyterian,
New York.
Growth and Decay.
Growth and decay in character are
very largely determined by what we
strive for and hew wc strive. Low aims
mean low manhood; small efforts, small
attainments.— Rev. W. A. Foster, Chris
tian, St Louis.
Church Not on Police Duty.
The office of the church is not to ar

has to turn loose on what the policeman
ought to take care of. —Rev. VV. A. Gau

David’s Grand I’ocin*.
The Psalms are the spiritual fund of

A Musical Item,
The minister, Parson Downy couch,
was at dinner with tho Chaffie fam

“Can a church whistle?”
“Why do you ask, Johnny?” asked
the clergyman kindly.
“Because pa oWes sl2 pew rent,
and he says he is going to let the

After the clergyman had taken his
departure there was a vocal solo by
Johnny.—Texas Sifter.

HEALTH CATECHISM.
To be Committed to Memory by
All Dyspeptics Invalids, Con
sumptives.
What : s the cause of nine-feuths
of all disease?
Imperfect digestion of food.
Why dues imperfect digestion
cause disease of other organs?
Because blood, nerves, muscles,
hone and flesh are derived from
’he f ood w e eat and digest. It
digestion is perfect the bkod is
eure, neivesJ and muscles strong,
flesh firm. If ths digestion is poor,
I the blood is supplied from half di
gested, fermenting food, irritating!
every nerve and organ . The re- j
suit is, sooner or later, organic
disease, because every organ being
poorly nourished the Weakest gives
wav firstand we have liver irouble,
kidney complaints, heart disease
or consumption.
Is not dieting the usual and best
tretment to cure indigestion?
No, because the dyspeptic has'
been starved long enough, what is
needed is abundant nourishment
not the lack of it. The stomach
and blood demand nutriment, nut
bran crackers.
What is the best method of cure?
—rieantv of wholesome food wed
digested.
But how can a weak stomach
digest plei ty of wholesome fo< c?
By taking with the food after
each meal certain harmless rem
edies which are known to digest
food and thus nourish the blood
and r<st the weak stomach.
What are these harmless rem
edies?
The most valuable are vegetable
ferments, pure pepsin, Golden
Seal and fruit salts All of these
are now Combined in the form of
pleasant tasting tablets sold by
druggists under the name of
Stuart’s Dyspepsia Tab ets.
Arc these tab'ets superior to the
various liquid preparations, so
called dyspepsia cures?
Most dejdedly, because all
liquid medicines become stale
with age ai d lose whatever goed
qualities they may have bad orig
inally, while the lablet retains its
propenies • indefinitely. Stuart’s
Dysyppsia Tablets can be carried
in the pocket, always at hand
ready for use when traveling or at
daily occupation. They cost but
50 cts. and should Im kept in every
family. They keep the digestion
perfect and save doctor’s bills by
warding off disease.
Are Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets
adapted to all forms of dyspepsia?
Yes, because in all cases tht
trouble results fr >m indigested
fermenting food. Stuart’s Dyspep
sia Tablets cause the food to be
digested before it has time to
ferment.
If you wish to know more about
them ask your druggist for a
package and try them,
