In the near future the theater lovers mill have the opportunity of witnessing the most novel ami interesting entertainment ever given in Rome. Mr. J. A. Beall, who so bril liantly produced the opera comique “Zelena,” has been se cured by the ladies of St. Peter’s church to present the charming Extravaganza. The entertainment will consist of three parts all separate and entirely different. The first will be on the min strel order, with the stage beau tifully decorated with the na tional colors and flags of Cuba and the United States. Each chair will be arched and covered with tiny candles, while in the rear on a raised platform will be the dumb orchestra led by one • of the charming bells of Hono lulu, while other maidens of similar beauty will perform on numbers of interesting instru ments. Part second will be devoted entirely to specialty work and some beautiful electrical features will be introduced. Ending the entertainment and third part will consist of an operatic Potpourri. The cast and all participating will be published later.
