William Ludlow, who commanded the American right, to Gen. < ar cia, after .he fall of Santiago: “Near Santiago Cuba, July 15. 1898 —Dear Gen. Key West, Fla , July 30.—Ihe boat Woodbury brings informa tion that the steamer Wanderer succeeded in landing part of an expedition a abort distance west of Havana, in Dinar del Rio Prov ince, near the point where she was' driven off last Saturday. The Wanderer then went east ward and a second landing was effected at a point about 20 miles east, of Havana. A third landing was made near Cardenas.
