Middleboro, Mass., Sept. 19. — The iuppoted victim of the Bridge port, Coan., murder, Miss Marian Orace Perkins, arrived at her home this afternoon in perfect health, to the great joy of the family and the unbounded astonishment of the entire community. The funeral arrangements had even gone so far that the amily minister had been notified •nd asked to conduct the ser vices. The news that Mhs Perkins had returned to her home in Middle boro was received with incredulity at first, so general was the belief that the idenity of the body had been established. That no douht existed in the minds of the of ficials as to the identification is apparent from the fact that the death certificate has teen filed and everything official in connection with the death of “Marian Grace Perkins” has been complied with. The Spanish prisoners, with the exception of the officers, are coufi ed to the walled city to prevent their preparation of outrages in the hope of getting the insurgents in to disfavor with the Americans.
