Both the sugar war and the in dependent interests have an nounced that guarantees of the prices have been withdrawn. The guarantees, which were given after the recent cut in prices, were to the effect that if the market should decline be fore purchaser? received their sugar, they would get it at the price billed on the day they re ceived it.
