Mrs. Leslie Carter Gives Her

New York, Nov B.—Mrs, Leslie
Carter, the actress under the name
•f Caroline D. Carter, filled a peti
tion in bankruptcy today showing
liabilities of $63,773 and no as
sets except wearing apparel valued
at S2OO.
Some of the claims extend back
for seveial yeaas, and among them
are accounts for grownsj and cos
tumes from Paris makers several
• laims for cash loans and a hotel
bill.
The largest item ia for $20,704.
alleged to have been advanced on
a cash loan by the Wirt Dexter
estate of Chicago.
