. And Die.
Kingston, Ga.. Nov 19. —The
good people of this quiet little city
horrified yesterday afternoon
when they Larned that Miller
Campb-11, the veteran miller of
Barrett’s mills had been fatally
hurt in tn accident in the mill.
It seems that the sturdy honest
old milhr had undertaken to place
the grindstone belt on the pully
and in the effort managed to get
his foot caught.
Like a flash his was whirl
ed ever tbe pully. Both arms and
both legs were broken and he sus
tained many bruises besides being
injured interna ly.
Everything that medical skill
and loving hands could do to
relieve his intense suffering was
done, but the art of the physician
nor the loved ones who ministered
could save. This morning the
noble spirit of this honored though
humble citizen passed out from
the ma gled frame and wounded
body .
Peace to hie memory .

RELIABILITY
•
is a quality some newspapers have lost sight of in thw
days of “yellow” journalism. They care little for truth
and a great deal for temporary sensation.
it is not so with THE CHICAGO RECORD.
The success of THE RECORD rests upon its reliability.
It prints the news—all the news—and tells the truth
about it.
It is the only American newspaper outside New York city
that has its own exclusive dispatch boat service and lh
own staff corraspondents and artists at the front i» both
hemispheres.
It is the best illustrated daily newspaper in the world.
Its war news service js unapproachably the best.
Says the Urbana (111.) Daily Courier:
“We read the war news in the other papers
then we turn to THE CHICAGO RECORD ta
see how much of it is true.”
