At lant’an With a Mouth RECAPTURED IN CHICAGO A W»o»i P*iats Out The Gay Lotha ri*. Me Will b* Keturned to thej Gate City at Oure.“S»cit ty Trembles’ Says this mornings Constitution; Harry Hill, the übiquitous, the hu - man bad penny of local cireles, has added another arrest to his long string. This time, as the first,he was ai ested in Chicago, in the vicinity of the Harrisc n st e t police station, the same station in which he was confin ed before. His brown curling, Sam sonian locks were shorn by a Chicago Delilah this time. Hill was arrested yesterday on the streets of Chicago by a policeman, who, a moment before the arrest, was not aware that such a man as Harry Hill existed. The officer pla ced Atlanta’s gay forger under ar rest and carried him to the II uri son street police station, a short dis tance away. The prisoner ack.iowl edged Lis identity and said he was wanted in Atlanta. Hdl was detected by a woman, who formerly knew him in Atlanta. She casually met hun on the street and pointed him out to the first offi cer she saw. Several weeks ago Mr T RToleson who was extremely anxious to have Hill brought back to this city, wroti a letter to the woman in question and told her that in all probability Hill was in Chicago. He further stated that he had offered a reward for Hill’s arrest and he asked her to look out for Hill and point him out to the police if he could be found. She interested herself considera bly in the matter, and even went to the length of going to Canada in search of him. She got no clue, however, am) it was only an accident that she met him on the street yes terday. The accident was probably as great a surprise to Hill as it was to the woman herself. At the police sta tion, a circular seat out by Chief Conaoly, describidg Hill and asking for his anest was lound and Hill was placed in a cell. Inspector John D Shea, chief de tective, wired Chief Connoly of the arrest last night. In his telegram he stated that Harry Hill, wanted in Atlanta, had been arrested on a cir cular sent out Dec Sth. Hill refu s« to come back to Georgia without requisition papers. Chief Connolly wired inspector Shea to hold Hill on the charge of forgery, saying that he was wanted in this city by Mr. J. R. Tolleson and $2,000 was involved. He also wired that an officer with requisi tion papers would leave for Chica go today Little delay will be experienced in getting a requisition for Hill. A requisition upon the governor of Ohio is already in existence, but,of course, it will be necessary to get a new one, which will be th* worx of but a few minutes. Sergent Jennings, who went t® Chicago after Hill last summer, has been selected to go today, and he will leave this afternoon for the Windy City. Sergent Jennings proved himself to be a most ex cellent oflfoer for missions of this character on the trip last summer It seems that Hill has not been far awy from Chicag® since leav ing Atlanta. He remained in Louis, ville for more than a month, stop ping with the family of Mr. Dun can, and has been in Chicago some time. He appears to have a special fondness for the world’s fair city, and not long after his release in Cincinnati! he wended his way thither.
