THE FIRE ALARM.
The fire alarm was caused, last
night, by electric street cars. One
car jumped the track ou railroad
cressing on Second Avenue and
another car was sent to its assis
tance.
In drawing the derailed carback
on the track, both poles were press
ed to the trolly wire elevating it to
the wires above, ringing in the
alarm and burning out two elec
tric gong boxes and a number of
fire boxes. Damage about SIOO.
