Our County Treasurer is very efficient and we recommend him for the excellent system and the willing ness with which he at all times has madn statements to us. Said list to be furnished by the Treasurer quarterly. We recommend that the County Attorney prepare such a bill and that the Commissioner of Reads and Revenues see that it is properly advertised and passed by eur next Legislature. We think 'he system of books kept in the Commissioners office is correct and ample; but many of the amounts paid out by them are extravig«nt —in our judgement. We call at tention especially to salaries es different oflieers medicine hills and amounts whioh have been paid for convicts, and we urge upon them that the stringency of the times and th. sacrifices the people are making te pay taxes demands to ecunemize very rigidly . We have failed to .xamiae our clerk’s books not having access to them. Justice of Peace Dockets: We have exam ined the dockets of the following Juatio.s and fiiid them correct: J, W. Howell, 949, W.
