small crowd fron Rome, Sugar Valley

which is 21 n'iles north of Rome and
5 miles west of Sugar Valley, in
Gordon Co. and ons of the mod

picnic.

Saturday morning and after a cool
hut enjoyable ride of 24 miles, dr
ived at the picnic grounds, at the
Pocket Mill at a few minutes be
fore 10 o’clock. By 11 o’clock
here were about 40 youug people

the crowd was fixing for the pic

we Lathered in the mill and warm

started to our homes. Altogether
the day was most pleasantly spent,
as cold as it was, aud the part
left the place rather sad-hearted
