Perhaps the News does not believe that General Evans would be under obligations to “boodlers” o‘Brien and S tarns, to Tom Blatherskite Fel der or Ta Ra Ra Cobb, to Nelms or Frank Rice or to that mill of politi cal corruption, the Atlanta Constitu tion. If Mr lurner is a candidate for the lower House of congress and intends to accept the nomination, it would be no more than in good taste for him to withdraw from the senatorial race, and vice versa. She saved the baby but was herself so badly burned that she died. Prof. W. T. Daniel, of Heflin, Ala. has been elected principal of Buchanan High School for next 'year.
