Jacksonville, Fla., Sept. 5.- William Hayes, a dissolute young fellow, shot and killed his wife and serously wounded his inother [ in-law at midnight last night. Towney, Jessie Tow ney, and Walter Gtaft; the last four were children. General Wheeler Renominated.- Decatur, Ala., September 5. Gen. Joseph Wheeler was renomi nated here yesterday for congress on the first ballot. This will be the general’s eigth term in cohgress, as his renomination means an elec tion.
