EUROPEAN R.R.ACCIDENT A Young Girl in Searchinci he Wreckage Found the Head of her Father Severed fronthe Body. Paris, Sept. 10. —It has been as certained that twelve persons war killed outright and sixty others injured in the accident to the Cologne express between Moyon and Chauncey yesterday. The engineer of the express stuck to his post, and though he escaped death, is badly hurt. The fireman was killed. His side of the engine and the first three carriages were shattered to pieces. Those engaged in the rescue of the wounded found many of them firmly held down by wreckage ami t.ieir agonizing cries for help could be heard on all sides. One young girl who was saved insisted on searching the wrecked train for her father whose head was found to have been severed from his body. Massilon, 0., Sept. 10.—The lit tle village of Dalton, about nine miles North of here, was almost totally destroyed by fire early this morning. She fire orginated in a stable, and while tho direct cause of the origin is unknown it is presumed it was prompted by tramps taking quarters there for the night. The entire loss is estimated at about $200,000, the heaviest lossers boing the Royal Insurance Com pany. The postoffice department and its entire contents was included in the fire. The Canton, Missilon and Orr Ville fire department were hastily Biimmoi ed and r-sp-mded but their presruce was of nu avail at? sufficient water could Jnot be pro cured to do any good.
