Amid the unusual warmth of
Atlanta’s municipal election, a
rather peculiar question has been
sprung. Sometime ago. when Mr.
G. V. Gress, one of the alderman
ic candidates, were served with a
subpoena to serve on a jury, he
stated to the court officials that he
is the post-master at Cramer,
where he has a convict camp, and
for this reason he was excused
from jury duty. Does Mr. Gress
