The mystery of the murder of
Gus Gentsmeer on the railroad
northwest of this vilhage was
cleared up today, whon George Van
Taylor, the man’s chum, cut his
throat and died in the jail.
Taylor left letters confessing to
twelve murders, but, as he is but
22 years old this is believed to be
imagination,

Elias Henderson, a wealthy farm
er, awakened early this morning
by his front door being smahed to
pieces, and five masked men ap
peared in his bedroom [and stole

When convinced that there was
no more money concealed, the rob
bers left.
