The ju ry brought in a verdict of guilty as to Joseph B. Lynch, the leader of the bund: Wm. J. Chandler and Sarah E. Collins. John Collins, Sarah's husband, was acquitted, because he was weal.-.ninded. The courtroom was packed when the last live witnesses were examin 'd. All were married, and told the same story of having’become sanct ified when they found they could not understand the Scriptures with their wives. It was then they elect jd more congenial co-workers. The Attorney handled the sanctified crowd with out gloves in his address to the ju ry. He appealed to the jury to stamp out the pestiferous of imposters whose teaching threat ened to undermine the structure of society. The jury soon brought in a ver dict, and with these penalties: Lynch, six months in jail and $250 fine; Chandler six months and S2OO, and Sarah Collins, four months and SIOO fine. As they marched to jail Lynch said he was g ad to serve God in a dungeon. Murdered his Father. Warran, Ark., N0v.,7. —A color ed mail named Milton Harman, living in Ouachita Township, this county, was shot and instantly killed by his fifteen-year-old boy yesterday. The deed was done about 4 o'clock in the morning, while Har man was asleep. The boy crept up to the bedside and discharged the gun, the ball piercing the body of his father. When questioned as to why he had committed the deed he said his father had whipped him. Despondent Girl kills Herself. Two doctors responded to the call for assist ance and she lingered until 5 o’clock this morning, when death relieved her of her sufferings Shot and Strangled. South McAlester, 1.T., Nov. 7 Si’an Lewis, the condemned Choc tow murderer, was shot at Wil burton at 10 o’clock this morning by Sheriff Pursley.
