they had fled for refuge. Their
bodies are still in the ruins.
At Bagnara several persons were
killed. Eight lost their lives at
Mamertino and San Eufmia,being
crushed to death, while many oth
ers were injure !. The inhabitants
of this place ar< obliged to camp
in open air.
