Republican Gains. Boston, December 5. —Municipal elections wers held in twenty-one of the thirty-one cities in the com monwealth yesterday and in most instances a full vote was polled. The republicans have made large gains, due in several instances to the endorsement of its candidates by the A. P. A. I n a number of cities the A. P. A. have succeed in electing their can didates to the school committees and individual members of the city government.
