I have been an observant listen
er in many groups of voters around
the court heuse and on the street,
today, if I mistake notjhe pulse
of the people, Deputy Sheriff J. P.
McConnell will be elected sheriff
of Floyd county by more than twu
to one. The people’know tht ster

seem to wonier why another tick
