Her Bare Arms, but Too Late.
Hartford, Dec. 26 —The threoi
year-old daughter of Mrs. Michael
Bernstein was in a baby carriage
in the kitchen to-day, when she !
dema ided some hing to e it. Her j
nine-yenr-old sister refused to get
her anything.
The baby first pouted, then cried
and tl en jumped into a wash-boil
er two-thirds full of boiling water.
Mrs. Bernstein plunged her
arms into ti eater and lit e I the
little one out. but it died in great
agony in two hours.
