Mr. Felix Cantrell, of the big

Working with the grain beats
working “against the grain” an
hundred fold. Mr. Cantrell says
the farmers in that neck of tin
woods are strictly in it.

The closing exercises of the
North Rome schools occurred in
the North Rome depot hall last
night, and reflected great credit
upon Principal Miss Bessie Wil

some time ago that with that staff
of teachers, North Borne's schools
would soon be in the front ranks
of public school systems, and the
exhibition last night, which closes
the first term for these gifted young
ladies is convincing evidence that
the HtTrTLEK of Rome’s “mark that
prediction” is again correct.
