dress at the -tate Normal School
to teachers. It was entertaining,

to pay the expenses of the. teach
ers from the various counties of
the state nt the school for the
term of ten weeks, also their ex
penses to and from, the school
provided they would secure for
the Atlanta Journal 200 weekly
subscribers. His offer will be the
means of sending a large -number
to the school, as many will take
advantage of the opportunity.
The Banner notes a peculiar
case, in that Greene county will
be represented in the next legisla
ture by a gentleman, Mr. Luther
Boswell, who lives in Oglethorpe
