CRUEL TORTURE Inflicted on a Poor Farmer by Masked Men. Guthrie, O. T. , Feb. I.—Two masked men broke into the house ofLouis A. Stanwood, a recluse, near Harvey, and tortured him by sticking a knife into his limbsand burning off his hair a.id whiskers until he gave up bis money, which amounted to but a few dollars. They next visited the home of John Hensley and rubbed him, stopped J. C. McFarlan on the road, robbed him of his money and were going to a fourth place when a shot from a rifle drove them off.
