The large two story brick
building, of Jarman & Williams,
on the corner of Tallahassee and
Railroad streets, was completed
last December, and there has
hardly been a day, sincethe com
iplet.ion of this mammq& struc
ture that this live firm has nog

kind of goods they deal in. This
building is 65 x 100, and is filled
in both stories, from floor to
ceiling with buggies, wagons,
furniture, undertakers supplies,
and all kind of shelf hardware,
wire fencing, ete. This build
ing would be an honor to a city
of fifty thousand inhabitants.
They (¥o a wholesale and retail
business, and people come -here
from many miles around and buy
goods from them. )
They cun sell you anything in
their line just as cheap as you can
buy it in Macon or Atlanta, ow
ing to the fact that they buy in
such large quantities.
And, this firm deals in live
stock, also. You can get a good
horse, or a pair of fine mules
from them any time.
The heads of the firm are all
young men,’ Messrs. J. L, and
Eugene Williams were born and
reared in this section. Mr. Jar
man is a Tennesseean, but has
been in this séction for the pdst
four years. ¢
