Capt. E. I), llendry, who left here
several days ago for Atlanta, has re
turned home. He gives an appalling
statement concerning “hard times”
in Atlanta. The Captain says there
are almut 5000 people in Atlanta
that are penni ess and without work.

The High School
The Fierce County High School is
open for the reception of pupils, and

was opened last Monday morning,not

Miss Addie Boring, the assistant,
arrived Saturday morning, a strang
