The Florida Central and Poninsular Train
Gets There First.
The race ol the hotel help trains
via the Plant system and Florida
Central and Peninsular roads was
ended yesterday morning. The Flor
ida Central and Peninsular train ar
rived nt Washington at (1:55 o'clock,
and the Plant system and Coast June
train arrived at 7 o’clock, just five
minutes later, The run from Jaek
sonville to Washington was made in
ju-it twenty hours and fifty-five min
uteu. Both trains went Irom Wasli
ington to New York on the Pcnnsyl
vuniu railroad on the same schedule.
The Plant system train lost forty-six
minutes between Jacksonville and
Savannah on account ol iiot boxes.
