Mrs. W. R. Berwick is visiting relatives
at Cordele.
Walter McCall, the negro who shot at
Mr. Memory last week, has been convict
ed of carrying a pistol concealed and
fined $ 75.00 or '12 months on the gang.
He has not had a commitment trial for
shooting Mr. Memory yet.
Prof. O’Quinn thinks that Fate is a
gainst him. Last spring his school was
confused on account of smallpox and
Ibis spring by scarlet fever. However,
he is going ahead with his normal class.
Mr. Charlie Sykes of Savannah spent
Sunday among his friends in Blackshear.
