This Company has been formed to a
dopt and carry out an agreement be
twcen Archd Meldrum Manufacturing
Chemist, Blackshear, Ga., U. S. A. (late
ly with the Blackshear Manufacturing
Company, Blackshear, Ga.), and the
Globe Manufacturing Company, Limit
ed, Camphor Refiners and Manufactur
ing Chemists, ii Mansion House Cham
bers, London, England, and whose
works are situated at West Norwood,
England, Hoboken, Antwerp, France,
the said agreement being dated 2nd day
of September, 1901.
The agreement comprises the sole
rights of United States and Canada to
manufacture Camphor, Celluloid Crys
tals, and by-products under the Globe
Manufacturing Company’s various pro
cesses.
The processes being secret, it is not
desirable in the interests of the Compa
ny to give any details, but the secret doc
uments have been duly sealed and de
posited with the Company's solicitors as
per agreement with Mr. Meldrum.
A working capital of $50,000 is ample
for the manufacturing of 50 tons of cam
phor, celluloid crystals and by-products
per month, and for which a market has
already been acquired. The gross prof
it on this production is estimated to give,
after bearing ail charges, a sum of not
less than $120,000 for distribution on the
Preference and Ordinary shares, leaving
a sum of $70,000 for the purpose of re
serve fund, or for further extension of
the business.

of land, a dwelling timber. house, and an abun

cesses, $282,000, leaving a balance of
$2ti,800 The total cost for building
works capable and installing of producing plant and machin

ny and Archibald Meldrum, wherein the
latter agrees to act as Managing Director
for 10 years at a salary of $5,000 per an
num.
3rd. Agreement between Mel
drum and the Industrial Trust Company,
60-62 Liberty street. New York, as to

amount is nearly enough to build
iron bridges, which, when once in
tact, will be there for generations

Mr. W. A. Martin, who resides

city to day and stated that his
son’s wife, Mrs. E. F Jacobs, has
