t To the Public.—Dr. Fryer’s Cure of a Cancer.
Having just been effectually cured of an inveterate

the public—more particularly that portion of them w ho

0 I Dr. Fryer, and of gratitude on-my own part—to state
briefly the facts of my case, and my full and effectual
cure by the Doctor. lam now some fifty-three years
old. Some sixteen years since, a cancer commenced to
l grow on my right hand, near the joint of my wrist. Day
I by day. month by month, year by year, it continued to
I grow, undermining my health, till it well nigh made my
life a burden to me. At different times, it was operated
on by physicians of distinguished professional repute,
and although they caused me to undergo the most ex
i crueiating pain. I derived no benefit from their labors—
indeed, they seemed but to increase the virulence of my
cancer. At length, brought by pain and consequent de
bility to the verge of the grave, I pm myself under the
advice and treatment of Dr. Fryer. From the first day
I did so, my health began to revive, and now. having
suffered, while his patient, comparatively but little pain,
w ithout a knife having been once applied to the cancer,
it is. I thank God. entirely removed, the wound is In .li
ed up. and my health is restored.

she has suffered some sixteen years, will be found in

ment. We saw where the cause of her affliction had so
long burrowed, and saw that there is not now a trace of

Certificates —This is to certify that mv wife had
been laboring under a seated cancer, situated just below
the right eye, for fourteen years, which did eventually !
measurably deprive her of her eye sight. It commenced
thus: with a small irritable inflammable pimple of a
bluish and sometimes redidi color, which gradually be
came a sore as larg** a< a silver dollar, or larger, w ith
hard rising edges of a nigged and uneven appearance.
' \\ e tried every thing that we could bear of, both far

race, but all to no purpose, until die took one package

cured her ultimately sound and well. Any information

I would just say to the public that my wife had been
laboring under a cancer of the breast for about five
months, which brok * in sixteen different places, and a
disease ol the liver and lungs, for live years, which re
, duced her ko in strength that she could scarcely walk
; across the house, or get up when down, w ithout assis
s tance, during which time I tried various means and re
medies lor her relief, hut all to no purpose, and I pro
cured one package of Dr W K. F. Fryer's Concentrated
Prescription ol Vegetable Medicines, which cured her
sound and well. And Ido believe, had it not been fur
Dr. \\ K. F. Fryer and his medicine, she would erenow

Cancer Cured. —We were called in. a day or two
since, while passing in Frenchmen street, to see a cure
of cancer performed by Dr. W. K. F. Fryer, the Indian
Doctor. The patient was a stout, athletic negro man.
formerly a slave of Mr. J* Hoey, the enterprising pioneer
ot Ilnoyville. but is now the property of Dr Frver, who
l purchased him from his late owner.” after he had been
pronounced incurable by the heads of the medical facul
r **> the city. The cancer was located on the upper
part of the breast bone, and the tumor covered both
maxilliary glands, and extended more than half, way
down the breast. When we saw it, the tumor was en
tirely gone, and nothing but the scar remained, not vet
quite healed up. to show that there had been any thing
the matter with the boy. Until recently, it has been
believed that a cancer was entirely incurable, and that
the grave was the only relief for a disease, terrible not
1 only on account of being considered incurable, but from
its loathsome nature, and we were among those who
could have been convinced by nothing less than occular
demonstration, that there was any cure for it. We can
not, however, discredit our own senses. We have had
the most com incing proof that the disease can he cured,
which it is possible to have. The Doctor proposed to
Mr. lloey to cure his slave for one hundred dollars, but
so sceptical was that gentleman as to the Doctor's ability
to effect a cure, that after consulting able physicians, he
concluded to sell the boy to him for the amount of the
fee demanded for his cure. The boy is now well, and is
a most valuable servant, pronounced in our presence, bv
a gentleman acquainted with the value of such property,
to be worth SBOO. We cau have no hesitation in recom
mending Dr. Fryer to all persons afflicted with such
diseases.
uT* The above is an editorial taken from the Daily
Orleanian, one of the most respectable public journals
in the city, dated October 24. 1850. The bov is still
w ell, and the members of the Healing Art. Mayor of the
city, and the citizens generally, are most respectfully
invited to visit my consulting room, (though humble.)
aud examine for themselves.
And while you have wit, and words at will
I kuow you will exercise your little goose quill.
Remarkable Cere.— Dr. Fryer, the celebrated Indian
Dr., has the credit of achieving some remarkable cures.
Me were shown the other day a slave belonging to the
Old Levee Steam Cotton Press. Third Municipality, who.
we were informed, had been cured of consumption, or
rather disease of the liver and lungs, with fever of the
bowels. He wa ? discharged on the 22d March, after be
ing confined to his bed many months. The negro ap
peared perfectly restored. We also saw. at.the same
time, a negro who had been cured of a severe cancer bv

For a length of time l suffered from Dropsy. Every
remedy which 1 tried, and every physician I employed
or consulted for a cure, proved of no avail, and with dis
pair I contemplated the future. Then I read in the
Louisiana State Gazette, a card from Dr. Fryer. No. 33 I 1
Frenchmen street, stating that he cured every species
of Dropsy, and this in a very short time. As I was
situated then, a man would grasp at any and every
means of cure, aud so I turned to Dr. Fryer. Whatever
is said in his preceding card, he has truly performed. In
a short space of time I was cured, so that now I am well
and in perfectly good health, and therefore, earnestly ]
would recommend Dr. Fryer to all my former fellow
sufferers. * Bbrnabd Mrxen.

These fluids must be reached, acted upon, purified by
some powerful agent. Such an agent is Sands Sarsa
parilla, which gently stimulates while it disinfects and
expels from the stomach and bowels all that i< irritating,
and at the same time restores their vigor and tone. Its
great merit is that it meets and neutralize- the active
. principle of disease itself, and when that is gone, the
symptoms necessarily disappear. The rapidity with
which the patient recovers health and strength under

which it i- applied furnishes in the result a new certifi

accumulated testimony of multitudes who have expe

real value.
