very active ; has a very high forolicad, and rather
down lock, when quickly interrogated, speaks with
a littlo stuttering. Lewis is about fivo feet nine in
ches high, and when ho left had whiskers.
SAM is about 25 yoars of ago, is bright, and has
a high forehead, open countenanco, anil speaks
tolerably fluent; he is about 5 feet 10 j inches high,
rather slender made, has a very small hand; when
a little intoxicated speaks fluently, and rather im
pudent, and had goatees when he left.
TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS reward will bo giv
en for the above described Negroes, if found within
tho District, and Tilt RT Y-FI V E if found out of
tho District but in the State, and FIFTY DOL
LARS if they are arrested out of the State. And
as a further inducement, the .übscribor will
give ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS reward to any
one who will apprehend said slaves and furnish
testimony to convict any one, of inducing or fur
nishing said slaves with a ticket or tickets to pass
to a Free State.
