FOB DISEASES of tho Liver and to purify the Blood. Dr. D. has made his preparation as pure as possible. Its bitter taste corresponding with taste of the roots, prove its purity. Its beneficial effects in diseases of the Liver prove it to lie the most useful preparation of Sar .saparilla that is made. The prevalence of diseases in the Southern elimate, ansmg Irom an inactive state of the Liver, and the ef fect ol this sarsaparilla in stimulating the Liver to in creased action, causing by its alterative and mildly pur gitive effect the removal of the morbific agent from the Blood, have induced the Proprietor to use the pure Sarsaparilla and nothing else in this preparation For other diseases Physicians using this preparation in their practice can combine, or prescribe with it such ar ticles as they might consider the most appropriate in cases under their treatment. As those who use the Georgia Sarsaparilla and find benefit from its use—recommend it to others, and the fast increasing demand, proves that the labors of the Proprietor to make a good article have been duly appre ciated by Southern people, there is no need of publish ing certificates. Northerrn preparations should not be usak in the South, unless they are made freer of sweet ened water and other tilings than they have been. Price, $1 per bottle; 6 bottles for $5. [From the Military and Naval Argus, Nov. 9,1850.] There is no remedy for the permanent cure of bald ness and diseases of the cranium generally, that has reached the popularity enjoy ed by the articlo known as Professor Barry's Tricopherous, or Medicated Com pound. It is extensively used by the upper classes of the community; in almost everv nursery in the land it is used in preference to other articles of the kind. It imparts vigor to the roots of the hair, and thus pro motes its growth to a remarkable degree. It destroys the dandruff and scurf, and yields the hair lino and glos sy. This preparation has now borne the test of over 14 years experience, since its first introduction to public fa vor, during which time numerous imitations have sprung into existence, founding their claims to the confidence of the community on the curative powers contained in Sarsaparilla Root, the great reputation and extended use of which lias been mainly attributable to the many wonderful cures effected by the use of this preparation. While Sarsaparilla Root forms an important part of its combination, it is, at the same time, compounded with other vegetable remedies of groat power, and it is in the peculiar combination and scientific manner of its prepa ration, that its remarkable success in the cure of cliser*!** depends. Other preparations imitate it in the style of putting up. and bearing the name of one of its ingredi ents, and hero ends their resemblance to it. Those needing a remedy and purifier like this, are requested to note where this difference exists, and in making choice of what they will use, not to take any other but that one entitled to their confidence, from the long list of cures it lias effected on living witnesses, whose testimonials and residences have been published, and Mho are still bearing daily testimony to its woi H . The whole histo ry of medicine has scarcely furnished a parallel to the numerous and remarkable cures effected by its use, and what it has effected once it can effect again. FROM KENTUCKY. Inflammatory Rheumatism Gured. __ Rardstown, Ky., July 10, 1849. „?^?^-~ r; . ontlemen : [t is my duty to commu nicate well 1»i WituUuiul < of vnni- Sarsaparilla. My wife was afflicted with inffl?«s{.3tßm and soreness of the stomach of the worst character; her limbs and chest were much swollen; she had constant headache, and last spring was attacked severely with in flammatory rheumatism. The best medical aid we could obtain afforded only momentary relief; and while in this situation, slie heard of the many remarkable cures ef fected by the use of Funds’ Sarsaparilla, and commenced its use. which produced instant relief, and less than six bottles entirely removed all the dropsical swelling and every other iiiHammatory symptom restoring her per fect health. .1 send this statement as an act of justice believing it to be my duty to encourage the suffering portion of the human iamily to use Fund's Farsaparilla, which I lielieve lias no parallel in the catalogue of me dicine. With feelings of lasting gratitude,'l remain your friend. SAMUEL P. HAULER. Read the follow ing from New-Orleans, Nov. 12,1849. Messrs. Sands— Gentlemen: I take the liberty of sending you a letter which may be of importance to those who are suffering as I have done. I received great benefit from your Sarsaparilla, having been cured of a malady after sulfering six years. I hereby cheerfully certify to the good effect of your medicine, and I hope God will reward you for all the good you have done. A chronic cough had tormented me duy'and night, and re peated attacks of fever induced me to believe that 1 a' JgfiSAUh while sphering to try your incomparable medicine, hut to tell the truth I had no confidence in it. I finally purchased a bottle’ and by its use and the help oi (led, I was restored to’ better health than 1 hud enjoyed for six years. I can not hut bless the author of this admirable medicine. IVith great respect, I am, gentlemen, Your obedient servant, FERMIN GROUPAZ. Truth is stranger than fiction." New Durham, N. J„ Juno 30. 1849. Messrs. Santis —Gentlemen: My wife suffered with a distress and burning in her chest for many years and my daughter was affliSted from her birth with a humor in her blood. W'e consulted various physicians, and tried numerous remedies, without much benefit until we heard, through Rev. Thomas Davis, of the great me dicinal value of Sands’ Sarsaparilla. On his recom mendation my wife and daughter decided on trying it and soon experienced permanent benefit. My daughter’s skill assumed a new appearance entirely; from being rough, hard and scaly, it became smooth and soft. My wife’s sufferings are almost gone, and its use a short time longer, it is my firm belief, will produce a perfect cure. Yours, with respect, <1 S. HENDRICKSON.
