ALBANY, (Oa.) Dec. 750.— Cotton. —Our mar
ket was languid, and prices had a tendency down
ward, until Friday last, when buyers came for
ward and took all that v\ as offered, and on i lie next
day prices advanced i a sc. and considerable sales
xvere made. Hy Sunday’s mail the Liverpool ac- 1
counts to the 4th, were received, showing a con
siderable advance in that market, which has put
prices beyond the reach of buyers in this market, i
'hough a few small lots have changed hands at an j

Unable to give correct quotations, as there is little
or none offering.— Patriot.
MOBILE, Dec. 29, P. M.— Cotton. —There has
been a good inquiry since our last report, and some j

and about 2000 a 2500 to-day. The market is
gradually improving—we quote middling OV. Rp

A PLANTATION, in Burke county,Ga., of
about 1500 acres, mostly oak and hickory
land, lying on Mclntosh Creek, 24 miles from
Waynesboro. Eight or nine hundred acres (one
fourth very recently) cleared,and under newly re
paired fences. On and attached to the place, are
a large two story dwell ing, new overseer and ne
gro houses, and all requisite outbuildings, includ
ing blacksmith and carpenter’s shop, and a mill
seat xvhich can be easily improved. Hogs, cattle,
mules, wagons, implements and mechanic’s tools,
in proportion to the force, and if desired, the crops
of corn, and fodder, and p-as,potatoes and wheat,
xvill be included in the sale. About 10 Negroes,
nearly three-fourths workers, will he sold with the
plantation, or separately.
