Ever since the selli-ai ut of America, Wild j Cherry has heeu known to possess very important medicinal virtue. Even/ body knew this fact, but nobody knew how to extract its essential prone r- Ue». Every mother gives \V iid Cherry tea to her children for worms, for cools, ami for almost every disease; and adults throughout our country are in : the habit of making a compound or syrup of \V ild j C herry bark, and other ingredients, to he used in i spring as an antidute to complaints incident to dial changeful season. It is found by experiment that the Wild Cherry possesses even far more impor tant qualities than was ascribed to it. for the first stages of Consumption, Asthma, no matter hotr long standing. Coughs, Liver Complaint, etc., it is proved to lie the best medicine known to man. jj r , Wistar’s Balsam of Wild i berry is a chemical exnact, combined with a similar extract irom lar, ■ which enhances its value. Its success in curing , Pulmonary iftease, in almost every stage, after our best physicians could do no more, has astonished | the faculty, and led them to confess that \\ istar’s Balsam of Wild Cherry possesses a principle here tofore unknown among medical men.
