We are daily receiving testimony like the fol- j

Messrs. R’Xse Ware- —Gentlemen—l was af
flicted with asthma for fourteen years, and had
tried every remedy in the country; I had also been
to several phy-h-i.ms, and found no relief whatev- j

blood would gitsh from my nose, and my breath- ,
jng was difficult. indeed the disease It.id gained
*o much on m * that I despaired of ever getting
'veil, when I chanced to get a bottle of “V\ istar's
Balsam of Wild Cherry,” which eifected a perfect
core, and I now consider myself perfectly sound.

CHARLESTON, Feh. 21 — Cotton —The trans

n ine discrepancy in the views of holders as to the
resu't of this day’s business, some asserting that
prices were decidedly belter; while there were
those on the other hand who contended that they j
had effected sales at former rates. The transac

COLUMBUS, Ft h. 22 — Cotton. —The business
of the pa-t week has been extremely light, from an
indisposition on the part of planters to offer their
crops in Warehouse, at current prices, and from
the light receipts, amounting to hut 340 bales, a
less number than in any wee* last year up to the
lir-t of May. 'The receipts of the corresponding
week last year were 1299 bales.
The shipments have also been unimportant, as
the heavy stork at the Bay and inadequate supply
of tonnage, render it difficult to make shipments
from thence, even at the high rates of freight cur

but prices were so vaguely K et forth tint they were
of no value, and had little oilier effjet than to
