By offering to the public such an article 1 have been liberally patronised, for which I feel grli ful. I have warranted my fine gins. 1 have never had one returned as Oot com ing up to what 1 promised. It is known I have, and do promise that my gins make superior cot ton. I have no travelling agents. 1 rely on my gins telling a better tale for me, and one that will I he sooner believed than a travelling agent; in \ short, I hope to make my gins sell themselves. 1 feel confident in staling that 1 have made valua bit improvements in fine gins, and that I shall hereafter furnish an improved gin to anything heretofore sold. 1 would also inform citizens of Warren, Washington, Wilkes, Columbia and ; Burke counties, that I have purchased Simpson s j improvement for band machineiy, and those who ; purchase my gins in the counties named will have the use of the patent tree; the material, when de- I sired, will be put on the head block, free of charge. It will require a small outlay of material on flic hand wheel, which will be at the lowest possible rate, and which, when used, reduces the draft to an astonishing extent; the character of the improvement is simplv by propelling the ma chinery by a slack band, instead of a tight one.— Myfinest fiction Roller Gins arc sold at $3 per saw. My plain gins are also greatly improved, and will be sold according to kind, from js2 to $2 50 j per saw. My finest gins have heretofore sold higher than other gins, an I yet, heretofore, I have not been able to supply the demand, witilsl I have been unable to sell but few plain (tins.
