It is useful in bilious com : plaints, to persons recovering from bilious fevers, and in sick or nervous head-ache. To pregnant women, who are subject to costiveness, this medi cine is well suited. In regulating the stale of ihe stomach and bowels, and promoting digestion, it is particularly useful. LB ROY-S V'EOETABLE UNIVERSAL PILLS. The startling draw back on nearly all .Medicinal AtientS husever liecii that m their process of purgation and puri fication, they have a'so debili fated the system. Hence Purgative .Medicines have always been regarded as at best out a Necessary Evil; Patients resorting to them for the reliefofoNE disease at the expense of another. To obviate this. Physicians have long sought for uu Agent that would at the same time PURGE PURIFY AND STRENGTHEN, Bat th dr e (forts were nearly fruitless .and they hart >' !- most despaired of success when the labors of science, and research were rewarded by a discovery which fully re alized the fondest desires of the Medical Faculty, and 1 which is justly regarded as one of the most important Triumphs that Pharmacy has ever achieved. This im portant desideratum is named DR.LE ROY’S VEGETABLE UNIVERSAL PILLS, Which Purify the Blood, and remove all corrupt, and I vitiated humors, and unhealthy accumulations from the body in a manner never before rivalled, and which y et produce no weakness or lassitude whatever, but on tho contraiy tone the Stomach, and invigorate the consti'ii j tion during the progress of their operations! Dr. L« Roy’s Pills, in fact unite those heretofore irreconcilable, but most desirable qualities, Evacuation and Incignra tion (or tiievare at the same time a STK ENGTHENING PURGATIVE. AND A PURIFYING TONIC. The two principal ingredients in Dr.Le Roy's Pillsare Wild Cherry an.l Sarsaparilla, So prepared that each promotes the beneficial effect of the other, the former strengthening, while the hitter, through its union with va tous vegetable ingredients, evacuates and pii' ifips; thus they superinduce no forpid*- ' t v or lassitude of the Digestive Functions, and hence their operations ure attended by uo Reaction or Subso j queiit Costiveness. Dr. Le Roy’s Pills are the most active and searching j Medicine inexistence. They at once attack the very root of D’Acgsrs, and their action is so prompt that in an j hourortwo after they are taknu, the patient is aware of their tfood effects. They not only operate oh the Blood, but also on the chyle, of which the Blood is form ed, and this seen ic- good blood from the fountainhead, ; moreover they produce neither nausea, griping or debili ty, and as family medicine they have no rival.
