TO THE LADIES IN PARTICULAR.
MY DEPILATORY POWDER has been found
highly beneficial and of great us© to ladies w ho
have been afflicted with superfluous hair, principally
when its growth has been confuted to the upper lip and
side of the face, giving a masculine turn to the whole
features. When used with proper care, mid according to
thcdireciions.it will he found to ho a great addition to
the toilet, as the use of any sharp instrument is entirely
avoided, auo the hair isremoved iu five or ten minutes
after its application.
This composition is infallible, and warranted to remove
superfluoushair. After numerous trials I have received
certificates of success which cannot he contested.

Dr. M. Woodruff—Dear Sir— -1 owe you an
apology for not acknowledging before this receipt
of a boy of your Dysentery Cordial, w hich you
hud the kindness to rend me while in Columbus,
for the use of mv corps,
I have found it a most valuable medicine, and
only regret that I have not a supply of it. W here
ever mv men have followed directions thev have
invariably found relief. We have suffered and
are suffering much from Dysentery occasioned
by the wretched water we have to drink, but yov.r
Cordial is red.ring ail to their vionted health
and vigor. With my sincere thanks for vour
kindness, and best wishes for your success, 1
am your obedient servant.

Dr. Woodruff: Mv dear Sir—A few davs
since ( received the Cordial which you were good

Jones, would have part of it; the remainder 1 have
laid aside for Use w hen I may need it.
On the other page, I have added a statement of
rny appreciation ofit as a Medicine.
Having used the Cordial of Dr. AT, Woodruff,
I do not hesitate to pronounce it a most valuable
Medicine. Indeed, for such affections of the
bowels as we sometimes sutler with in the South,
I know nothing at ai! eq ial to it.
