CIIIIISTIK’S GALVANIC RING S AND MAGN ET 1 C IL V 11) . f Skills remarkable indention, which ha- received the P_ almost universal approbation >: the medical pro fession of Great Britain, comprises an entirely new ap plication of Galvanism, as a remedial agent, by means of which the ordinary Galvanic Ba tenes. Llectn tandMag nctic Machines.&c.,areentirely dispensed witii. and the mysterious powers of Galvanism applied without any of the objections which are inseparable from she gene ral mode now in use. Tiie strong doses, and at irregu lar intervals, iu which Galvanism is applied by the Ma chines. hits been pronounced, as era fair aucT impartial trial.tube decidedly injurious, and it was to remedy this radical defect, that this new application was pro jected, which after unceasing toil and perseverance, has been brought to its present slate of perleclion. The Galvanic Rings answer all the purposes of the most expensive Machines and in many, other respects are more Sake and certain in accomplishing the desired effect. The Galvanic Rings. use<J in connection w ith the Magnetic Fluid, a e confidently recommended in all ■ d sorders which arise from an enfeebled or UN- | HEATHY STATE OF THE NERVOUS OR VITAL SYSTEM,and j these complaints are among the most painful and uni- 1 versa) to which we are subject. They arise, withontex- 1 ception, from one simple cause—a derangement of the j Nervous system—audit was in these cases that other ! “ remedies” having so often failed, a new agent was j greatly needed, which it is confidently believed, has j been found in the proper and judicious application of i Galvanism. The Galvanic Rings have been used with enriresuc- i cessin allcases of Rheumatism.- acute or chronic, ap- j plying lothe head, face orlimbs ■ tiour, Tic-Doloreun Toothache, Bronchitis, Vertigo, Nervous or Bick Headache, Indigestion . Paralyses. Palsy, F-pilepsy, j Fits,Cramp, Palpitation of the Heart, Appoplexy, 1 Stiffness f Joints. Spinal Complaints. Kumbagu, | Neuralgia. Nervous Tremors, Dizziness of tub ' Head, Pains in the Chest andStdk. General Debili- ' j Tv, Deficiency of Nervous and Physical Energy, i i and all Nervous Disorders. In case* of confirmed i I Dyspepsia, which is simply a nervous derangement of ( the digestive organs, the v have been found equal ;y suc ! Cessful. Their extraordinary effects upon the system i must he witnessed to be believed, and as a certain pre ventive for the preceding complaints they are equal ly recommended. The Kings are of different prices, being made of all sizes, and of various ornamental pat terns, and can be worn by the mostdelicate female w idiom the slightest inconvenience. In fact the scucalion is rather agreeable than otherwise. • The Galvanic Belts, bracelets. Bands, Charters, Necklaces, &c. In some cases of a very severe character and of long ! standing, the power as applied by the Galvanic Rings i is notsutficieiu to arrestthe progress of disease ami nil i j mately to restore health. The improved modification in the Galvan c Belts, Bracelets, &c., entirely rente j dies this objection ; any degree of powerthat isrequired cat! readily be obtained, and no complaint which the mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect will fail to be permanently relieved. These articles are adapted to the waist, arms, wrists, limbs, ancles or any part of ilie body with perfect con vemenee. The Galvanic Necklaces are used with greater benefit in cases of Bronchitis or affections of the throat generally ; also in cases of Ner vous Deafness; and with almost uniform success as a preventive for Apoplexy, Epileptic Fits, aiidsimilur complaints. Christie’s Magnetic*Fluid. Isissued in connection with the Galvanic Rings. and all their modifications. This composition has been pro nounced by the French Chemists to be one of the most extraordinary discoveries ot modern science, jt is be lietcd to possess a remarkable power of renderihg the Nerves seiisitive toGalvaiiic actiou, by these means causing a circulation of the influence at the seat of dis ease, and thus giving rapid am] permanent relief. No Othcrcomposiiion in chemistry is known to produce the same effector to impart a siimhn property tothe nervous system by means-of an ohtward local application. The Magiietic Fluid contains nothing '-apaele of the slight est injury, its application is agreeable, and it is harmless in itsaction as it is beneficial in its result. Full explana tions and directions accompany it. The combined in ventions are hi every w,»y perfectly harmless; they are at prices within reach of all,and the discoverer only re quests a fair trial, as a te&t of their surprising efficacy and permanent benefit. Christie’s Galvanic Strengthening Plas teis. I liescarficlcs form another valuable application an he mysterious influence of Galvanism. They are too mportant adjunct to the genuine Galvaiuc Rincsalid heir modifications, acting upon the. same principle, but having this advantage ol more local application. They are confidently recoin mended as a valuable addition in the speedy cure of Rheumatism, acute or chronic ; in all nervous complaints, and as a positive remedy in eases of Pain and Weak..ess i the Chest or Back, Pain in the Side, in Asthmatic Affections, and in Weakness or Op pression of the Pulmonary Organs. In Spinal Com plaints; their effects are ot the most decided character, and they have often been used w ith complete success. They are also of the greatest advantage in Pains and* Weakness of the Breast, ami are highly recommended for many of those complaints to which females are especially liable. Asan effectual means for strengthen ing the system when debilitated with disease or other causes; as a certain aid in Constitutional Weakir-ss, as a Preventive for Colds and in all affections of the Chest generally the Galvanic Strengthening Plaster will he found of great and perinanemad vantage. 1 n a few words, it embraces all the virtues of the best tonic preparation with the important addition ol the Galvanic influence, which is peitherimpaired or exhausted, wlnlethe action continues. The«e articles will be found entirely J’ree from those objection* which an a constaiitsourceoi coai plamt with the ordinary Platfersin common use. T-J 1 ae great celebrity and success of these articles, have caused them to be counterfeited by unprincipled persons. To provide against imposition.
