W e hear every day oi the cures performed by
this excellent preparation of one of the most valua
ble roots in the whole materia med ca. There are
many “extracts of Sarsaparilla” in vogue, but none
wc believe which equal this. It retains all the pecu
liar curative qualities of Sarsaparilla, in their natu
ral strength. This is the secret of the success and
the superiority oi Sands’prepara ion. which is be
coming more and more popular, as it is better known
and wider circulated and used.— Am. Cit.

the week reach only 302 bales, and the exports
4,446 —leaving the stock on hand and on shipboard
not ciea. ed yesterday 71,.T 0 bales, against 38,429
a? the same date last season.
Our lust review leit the market firm, with a
good enquiry, though somewhat irregular in price,
middlings rated at 9| alO cents. On Saturday fol
lowing, the first day of our commercial week, the 1
market opened with a good enquiry, and sales were
made to the extent of 2 » 2500 hales, at about the
prices given in our last sheet. On Monday the de- i
round was moderate--only 1000 hales changed
hands—the day dosing with the market decidedly
in favor of buyers. Tin* transactions for tire re-
Inaindef of the w-eok were confined to small daily •
sales not exceeding in the aggregate 2100 hales—
say, Tuesday 500, Wednesday 800, Thursday 500,
and yesterday only 300 bales.' As regards prices,
our quotations will show a decline of \ a Ac., and
the closing rat#* are very little higher than those
current previous to the arrival of the steamer.—
The advanced period of the season, the large stock
on the market, the total absence of foreign orders,
and (he want of shipping facilities, have all contri
buted to depress prices, and we cannot expect to
see much business doing again until the receipt of
later European advices, which may be expected
in the course of the ensuing week. The sales have
been principally for England, with a portion for
France and the North. The market closes fiat
with some irregularity in prices. Our figures,
however, indicate the closing rates paid.
The stock unsold is unusually large for the sea
son, being estimated at 15 a 50,000 bales, of which
some 15,U0(J may be considered as fairly on the
market.

NO MOKE WHITE, GREY OR RED
HAIR.
A REMEDY which enhances considerably the
beauty and alters the appearance of the coun

pleasing to have efficient means to remove these
defects. To effect this change of hair so much

of JULES HAUEL’S VEGETABLE LIUUID
HAIR DYE, which the proprietor can with justice
state, is far beyond any thing of the kind ever yet
known in this or any other country'. Its properties
are very powerful though very innocent. This

to dye instantaneously th< ir hair without the least
inconvenience. For changing red or gray' hair,
whiskers, eyebror/s, &-c. to a brown, black, or

need not be feared from its use—it is altogether
harmless. This composition is the only one sanc

without danger or inconvenience and has justified
the liberal patronage and unlimited confidence of
