GRISWOLD’S IMPROVED COTTON
GINS.
THE subscriber will continue the manufacture
of GINS on his usual extensive scale; and
embraces this opportunity to thank his numerous
customers for their liberal patronage heretofore.—
The estimation in which Kis Gins are held may be
known from the fact of his having sold qoore than
two thousand within the last three years; probably
ten to one over any other factory in the State.—
This evidence of the superiority of his Gins, is ac
counted for, by his being the first to introduce the
late improvements, and keeping the lead, by year- ’
ly adding new ones. His first and second improve
ments, made the quality of cotton perfect, though'
some were rather slow, his third made them suffi
ciently fast, it then only remained to make them
more durable and convenient, which has been done
effectually, by several new improvements the pre
sent year; besides, he has the exclusive right of the
State, and the privilege of other sections, so furnish-
Reed’s Patent Water Boxes, which are believed to
be ten times more durable than any other, hy those
who have made a fair trial of them, and are infalli
bly secure against fire by firiction. His' line Gins,
will gin Nlastodon Cotton as well as any Saw Gin
can. His agents will visit planters generally, and
exhibit specimens of his late improvements, aad
«int out their advantages, h» time, for all to en
ge, and be supplied before next ginning season,
.engagements can be made by letter, directed to
him at Clinton, Jones county, Georgia. Gins, will
be delivered at the purchaser's residence in an*
part of the State, except the Cherokee counties
where they will be left' at the Rail Road depot,
most convenient to the purchases* All warranted
to perform well if used according t© the printed
directions tent with each.

EDWARD BARTON, Secretary.
GRRAEPENBEGMSDCINES.
The undersigned is fully prepared to establish a,
GRAEFENBERG DEPOT in all places of pro
per size in South Carolina and Georgia. Immedi
ate application should be made, personally or by
letter to George Brainerd, agent, care ot Nelson
Carter, opposite Charleston Hotel. As there will
ordinarily be but one Depot in a town or village,
the agency will be very valuable.
The celebrated Medicines of the GRAEFEN
BERG COMPANY are rapidly and completely
superseding all others. Where once introduced,
no on.- thinks of using any others. 'Their charac
ter is best explained by the fact that THIRTY
THOUSAND BOXES OF THEIR PILLS A
LONE, ARE SOLD EACH AND EVERY
WEEK.
Certificates upon certificates from all parts
of the country are constantly received, testifying
to their wonderful powers. Their efficacy is al
most immediately felt, so that a single box will
show the invalid whether they are or are doing
him good. The sick should at once abandon all
other medicines and give these Pills a fair trial.
The operations of the Company throughout the
world are ot unprecedented magnitude, the high
and commanding character of which has received
the unqalified approbation of distinguished Clergy
men, Jurists, Philanthropists, and the public gene
rally. The Patent Medteine business is assuming
an entirely new position through the Graefenherg
Company. Almost every family in the land has
occasion to use some kind of patent medicine, and
an organization like that of this Company is of
paramount public importance. By this means re
liable medicines may be h ;d.
