ALL UN’S VEGETABLE COM POUND, tor the cure of Dyspepsia, Liver 1 Complaint, Nervous Deathly, Billions Affections, »fcc.,&c. This medicine i» offered to the public under the assurance that there is no article in ex istence having stronger claims to their considera tion. Being compounded by a regular graduate of J* flerson College, Philadelphia, and a practising Physician of twenty teaks standing in Phila delphia. his long experience has confirmed him in the opinion, that a compounded medicine was re quired to pkevent and remedy the debilita tion produced by residing in low miasmatic cli mates, and to counteract the prostrating influ ences of the many nervous disorders with which the human family are afflicted. Dr. Allen is a well known Physician, and has used the above medicine in his practice for tewlve years with the most astonishing effect, having tested its qualities in above FIVE THOUSAND CASES. No medicine ever received more fla tering re commendation from Physicians of eminent stand ing than has been bestowed on this. Read the following ; The late Dr. GEORGE McCLELAN. of Phila delphia, pronounced it one of the BEST TONIC preparations he had ever used, and recommended , it strongly in cases ot Dyspepsia, Nervous Debili ty, &c. The following is an extract of a letter from DR ROBERT AGNEVV, an eminent Physician of Lancaster county, Pa. “Dr. Allen.—Dear Sir:—lt is with great plea sure that 1 inform you of the success attending your Medicine, while cm plot ed in my practice. Jjfirmly believe that in eight cases out of ten the Dyspeptic may, by the use of your Medicine, rid himself ot this thorn in the pathway of life. Not onl in Dyspeptic cases, but in all casess of con stipation and diseases depending on a debi itated state ot the nervous system, togesher with a tor pid state of the Bowels, will your Elixir be of in estimable value.” Prepared only by the Proprietors, G. Ulceiated Sore Throat, long standing Rheumatic Affection, Diseases ol the Skin, old Sores, White Swellings, Diseases of 'he Runes, and all causes of an ulcerous character. It is also particularly use ful in chronic and nervous complaints occurring in debilitated and cachetic constitutions. Over Sy phiilis and the host of paintul, disagreeable and hitherto incurable affections resulting therefrom, such as Ulcers of the Throat, Larynx, Nodes. iVc„ and all those evils occasioned bv an improper and * injudicious use oj •‘mercury,” it displays complete control. It has been found to be a most useful pu rifier of the blood in all such diseases. In all complicated cases ol Scrofula and Sj phi lis, and in cases where the Syphilitic virus ol the parent causes a development of Syphilis or Scro fula in flie child, this is the only remedy upon which the hope of recovery can be reasonably founded. It relieves the disease, and at the same time imparts vigor to th; whole system—under the use of this medicine, the patient is enabled to take nourishing food, which in other practice is with held. In many cases where the horrible ravages of disease have taken so deep root that patients have been given up by be most skidui physicians, the disease has been arrested and the patient re stored to irood health, Ac., and the most reasona ble expectations fully satisfied. The cures performed in this city alone, are suffi cient to establish its reputation on a permanent basis, and too s< lid to be effected either by the malignant or envi us. It is worthy ot note that the greater part of the patients cured, had previ ew iy to using this preparation, received the best medical treatment and given up by their Physi cians as being beyond the reach of medical skill. It is, h >wever, advisable that it should be given,if practicable, under the ui erintemlcnce of a Phy sician, tor him to prescribe such other remedu s in conjunction with this, as the necessity of the case may require. This preparation has put into the band of Physicians a remedy, by which they can master a variety of diseases, which have hithertoo baffled the greatest sk 11 and study. It is a safe and harm less medicine, and removes all those evils which an unsuccessful use of mercury so often occasions. Price per Bottle, or £3 for six Bottles. Pre pared and lor sale by J. P. M. EPPING, Chemist and Drmigist, 277 King-street, opposite Society - slreet,Charleston, S. C. For sale in Augusta, by PHILIP A. MOISE, aul6-5m Sole Agent for Augusta. SOUTHERN MUTUAIInSUHANCE COMPANY. Its bones and muscles and del’ icate tissues are all the results of the gradual deix.-iie of minute particles, which are taken up by the vari..us or gans throughout the system. As the wood of the tree grows, year by year, from the depesite of ligneous sub stances from the sap which circulates through its capil lary vesse s, so does the organized living human In dv grow, and supply its natural waste from the materials supplied by the blood alone; for the blood contains all materials necessary to the reparation and growth of the organs. As it is the only means by which the great function of nutrition is accomplished, so also is this important vital tin id the source of all the humors of the body. The saliva, tears, bile, urine, perspiration and all other se cretions, are taken from the blood. How indispensable then is it that this FOUNTAIN OF LIFE be in a pure and healthy state. Invalids, Remember—That Bristol’s is the onh pure extract of Sarsaparilla prepared in this country, one hot tie of which is worth ten of the kind offered by many unprincipled quarks throughout the United States. 1 lie case of James Wyckoff has no equal, it stands out alone! Bristol’s Sarsaparilla has achieved, in this cure, a reputation and a fame that can never he won by any other medicine. 3 A synopsis of the case, and a quotation extracted from the most influential and respectable press, is all that can he given in this sheet. The history of the young man has been printed, ami is in the hands of agents. " If, in the days of the Apostles, among the man” who sought miraculous relief at their hands, there had been brought to them the remnant of a human being deaf umh and partially blind, with both legs and one arni eaten off by ulceration, his ears, his nose, and pa ate 100, comp etely destroyed by the ravages of the terrible disease, whose work of destruction was surely ami swiftly going on—would it not have been deemed a striking illustration of miraculous pow er had the cruel malady been at once stayed—its horrible uleerati. n* a t once healed—and the mutilated body of the -utie-er re lieved from racking pain, his appetite restored—hi-sleeo again rendered sound and refreshing—his flesh spirits animation once more returned—m short, a cumulate restoration to general health effected. * Fudi would indeed have been deemed a miracle—vet such a wonderful work lias been wrought by Un-toPa Sarsaparilla! James Wyckoff, now 29 years of age, and the son of Peter U yckoff, a fanner of Clarence, Erie Co Sew Vork, is the living monument of this most wonderful cure. When five years old, being attacked by mea-'e he had a preparation of mercury administered to him and ft r eleven years of wasting pain, and friglitful mu’ illation, were its pernicious effects at work. Awful he yond description were the sufferings of that poor bov during the interval, as detailed in an interesting history (d his extraordinary cure, published in f 046, for lus hen efit, and which can be had from Bristol’s agents. ’ C'ix years have now elapsed since this modern miracle was performed, and the person yet lives to tasiifv— though mutely, yet most eloquently— to .he curat v.- ii.,, perties of Bristol’s Sarsaparilla.
